Adding, editing, and deleting private-only network subnets

You can add, edit, or delete private-only management connectivity allowlisted subnets for your IBM Cloud® for VMware Cloud Foundation as a Service instance.

Procedure to add allowlisted subnets to VCF as a Service instances

  1. In the VMware Solutions console, click Resources > VCF as a Service from the left navigation pane.
  2. In the VMware Cloud Foundation as a Service table, click the Cloud director sites tab, then click an instance name.
  3. Click the Networking tab.
  4. On the Management connectivity panel, click Edit list.
  5. In the Edit allowlist window, click Add new +.
  6. Enter the new subnet value and click the Save icon.
  7. After all updates are complete, click Update.

Procedure to edit allowlisted subnets in VCF as a Service instances

  1. In the VMware Solutions console, click Resources > VCF as a Service from the left navigation pane.
  2. In the VMware Cloud Foundation as a Service table, click the Cloud director sites tab, then click an instance name.
  3. Click the Networking tab.
  4. On the Management connectivity panel, click Edit list.
  5. In the Edit allowlist window, click the Edit icon.
  6. Enter the updated subnet value and click the Save icon.
  7. After all updates are complete, click Update.

Procedure to delete allowlisted subnets from VCF as a Service instances

  1. In the VMware Solutions console, click Resources > VCF as a Service from the left navigation pane.
  2. In the VMware Cloud Foundation as a Service table, click the Cloud director sites tab, then click an instance name.
  3. Click the Networking tab.
  4. On the Management connectivity panel, click Edit list.
  5. In the Edit allowlist window, click the Remove icon. Then, click Update.
